United Methodist Youth

The opportunities with Wesley Memorial Youth Ministries are endless. We are blessed to have a large, energetic, enthusiastic group of youth, 6th grade through 12th grade, a great Youth Council, and devoted counselors.

We invite all youth to join us to make new friends, build a strong spiritual foundation, and help us share Christ’s love with our community and beyond.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT “RUSH” -(Radically United Serving Him), meets from 7:00-8:00 pm. This is a time with music, guest speakers, and fellowship in the game room, for all rising 6th grade-new 12th grade grads. We are inviting other churches in our community to join us each week, rotate with us with youth bands and youth sharing the message. RUSH is Youth Worship, for youth, by youth. Come join us and bring a friend!

LOOKING AHEAD

Pumpkins keep coming!! Please come help to unload on Saturday mornings and look for the Bartlett’swho are once again taking care of shift scheduling throughout the week. They will be set up in the Gathering Hall and ActivityBuilding before and after worship services and at UMYF. Thank you in advance for supporting our youth in this blessed fundraiser.

5TH QUARTER - We will have our last 5th Quarter, (after football game community youth social), will be Friday, October 9 from 9:00pm-midnight. Come join us and bring friends for food, game room, and gym fellowship.

THE GATHERING PLACE will be open Friday, October 16 from 7:00-9:00. This is a casual gathering for those with and without disabilities high school age and up, to enjoy the game room, gym, music, food, fellowship, and even some drumming! Come join an evening of unforgettable rewards; your help is what makes it possible, and this ministry is truly meeting a need in our community. Youth and adults are needed to help set up, make new friends, and clean up. Contact Bill Parker or Kristin Bednarczyk, 791-4092, at the church to sign up.
